Mind The Digital Gap exists because of the Roy Fletcher Centre's unwavering commitment to the Shrewsbury community. Our digital skills programme is delivered at the Roy Fletcher Centre, a trusted community space that has been serving Shrewsbury since 1997.
The Roy Fletcher Centre is known throughout Shrewsbury as a place of safety and acceptance - an organisation that never turns anyone away. This welcoming, supportive environment is the foundation that enables Mind The Digital Gap to provide the personalised, patient support that makes us unique.
Our programme is delivered entirely by trained volunteers who share the Centre's values of community, inclusion, and empowerment. Through one-to-one tuition and welcoming drop-in sessions, we combine practical digital learning with a strong social element, helping people connect as much as they learn.
There would be no digital skills programme without the Roy Fletcher Centre. Their commitment to creating a safe, welcoming space where everyone is valued has made it possible for us to support over 350 local adults in developing their digital confidence and skills.
